Bettina’s Dental Journey: A New Smile with All-on-4 Implants

When Bettina contacted us, she had been struggling with dental problems for a long time. She suffered from gum disease and loose teeth, and several were already lost. Eating had become difficult, and she felt uncomfortable smiling. After a thorough examination at our clinic, it unfortunately became clear that her teeth could not be saved.

To give her a stable and natural smile again, the dentist recommended the All-on-4 treatment – a modern solution where four implants per jaw support a fixed bridge. This method does not require extensive bone grafting and makes it possible to get new teeth in a very short time.

Treatment – Phase 1: Implants and Temporary Bridge

The treatment began with the removal of the damaged teeth. Then, the dentist inserted four implants in the upper jaw under local anesthesia, although she also had the option of having the procedure done under general anesthesia instead. The same week, Inge received a temporary fixed bridge, allowing her to chew, smile, and speak normally again right away.

She was pleasantly surprised by how painless and reassuring the entire process was. Our Danish-speaking patient assistant supported her throughout the whole experience – from airport transfers and hotel accommodation to the treatment at the clinic.

Healing Period and Phase 2: Permanent Porcelain Bridge

After about three months, when the implants had healed and integrated with the jawbone, Bettina returned to Budapest. The temporary bridge was removed, and the dentist created and fitted a high-quality permanent porcelain bridge.

The result was a beautiful, natural smile and strong chewing function – without any worries about loose dentures or discomfort.

Savings

Bettina paid only 65,000 DKK per jaw, while the price in Denmark would have been around 160,000 DKK per jaw.
This means a saving of approximately 95,000 DKK, equal to nearly 60% – while still receiving top-quality dental care performed by experienced specialists in Budapest.
